Meet Shonie Christensen, a trailblazing entrepreneur and the dynamic force behind The Shonie Insurance Group, a thriving small business she established in 2010. An accomplished Allstate Agent, Shonie’s influence extends beyond insurance sales, making her a noteworthy figure in Southern Utah. She is not only an entrepreneur but also a community champion, small business enthusiast, wife, mother, and grandmother who harbors a deep love for Southern Utah and is fervently passionate about local businesses.
Embedded in the local community, Shonie believes in the power of giving back. Actively engaged in community service, she volunteers her time and talents, seeking to empower women in business through advocacy and example. Shonie has served as the President of the St. George Exchange Club Board, a national service organization, and devoted six years as a board member for the Dove Center, a domestic violence shelter and advocacy center. Her advocacy for domestic violence awareness at the Utah State Capitol led to the proclamation of October 2nd as Domestic Violence Awareness Day in Utah. In 2023, she chaired the St. George Area Chamber of Commerce Board and currently holds a position on the executive board as Past Chair.
