Jewelry artist Marnie Ehlers transforms precious metal into intricate works of wearable art through the delicate craft of fine silver filigree. Working from her Tucson studio, Ehlers creates highly detailed pieces using fine silver metal clay, an innovative material that, once fired, becomes 100 percent solid silver. Her signature technique relies on syringe filigree, a process that allows her to build open, lace-like patterns with extraordinary precision.<\/p>
