Addison Kanoelani is a luxury mixed-media artist who transforms natural elements into profound, immersive experiences. Addison’s richly layered canvases are known for their signature use of preserved flowers, crystals, and organic textures, inviting viewers into an intimate dialogue with the natural world\u2014and, ultimately, with themselves.<\/span><\/p>

Her work is rooted in emotional authenticity and elemental connection and encourages personal reflection and contemplation. Her creations blend acrylics, sand, mica, and precious gemstones, chosen for their beauty and energetic resonance.<\/span><\/p>

Each piece is a living composition, where delicate orchids and plumerias\u2014often cultivated by Addison and her husband\u2014bloom alongside shimmering crystal clusters. The result is artwork elevating spaces, offering visual allure and an undercurrent of quiet healing.<\/span><\/p>

Raised along the wild coastlines of the western U.S. and deeply influenced by her Hawaiian heritage, Addison’s early experiences with expansive landscapes and spiritual longing shape her work to this day. What began as a personal journey of liberation from constraint has evolved into a collection of art that embodies freedom, wholeness, and the sacred relationship between nature and the human spirit. Her current work centers around that intention. She then incorporates preserved flowers\/plants of all sorts, which she grows with her husband, though not exclusively.<\/span><\/p>

Crystals and precious gemstones are embedded in resin layers, chosen both for their aesthetic and energetic properties.<\/span><\/p>

Addison believes these elements, natural materials with their frequencies, infuse her paintings with energy that helps awaken, nurture, and soothe the viewer. Now based in the dramatic beauty of St. George, Utah, Addison draws inspiration from the desert’s rebirth, forest sanctuaries, and cosmic wonder.<\/span><\/p>

Her work transcends simple decoration\u2014designed for homes, resorts, and healing spaces that seek luxury and a soulful presence. Each painting shifts the energy of a room, creating moments of grounding, serenity, and light.<\/span><\/p>

As Addison beautifully says, “Different environments carry different energies, and we need all of them.” Her art is a testament to that belief, serving as both an aesthetic statement and a sanctuary for the senses.<\/span><\/p>

Addison’s newest series, inspired by the quiet renewal of spring in the desert, will debut at The Tilted Kiln Gallery in St. George, Utah, this May, with an opening reception on May 16th from 6\u20138 pm.
