Arizona\u2019s high country is not the type of landscape in which one would generally expect anything but the blistering heat. But throw aside, for a moment, your preconceptions of Arizona, and embrace where starlight glimmers above the retro\u2011futuristic paradise of the Americana Motor Hotel. Imagine, if you will, a voyager, boots laden with grit, stepping through its neon portal; a basecamp to the larger beauty of the Grand Canyon, Arizona Snowbowl, Lowell Observatory, Meteor Creator, the ancient pueblos of Wupatki, or any of Northern Arizona\u2019s world-class outdoor destinations.<\/span><\/p>

From the moment of arrival, the hotel reveals its luxurious secrets: heated pool open year\u2011round, a firepit framed by yard games, a Barkyard and canine wash for loyal four\u2011legged companions, and welcome beverages served upon arrival. It’s easy enough to locate a staff member with extensive knowledge of the destination, and comfortable couches, board games, and a retail stocked with sundries and souvenirs await weary road trippers. The lobby also features a nearly thirty-foot-long communal banquette with ample power outlets, perfect for remote working. It is a welcome respite from the rigors of the world or the rigors of an outdoor adventure.<\/span><\/p>
