Scottsdale’s Community Gathering Place Reimagined
For over a decade, Brat Haus has been a Scottsdale staple, where great beer, scratch-made food, and a sense of community spirit come together under one roof. But how do they do it? What makes Brat Haus stand out from Scottsdale’s crowded landscape of pubs and beer halls? Owner Dave Andrea, operating partner Drew Hartz, and their team are answering that question with a bold new chapter. This October, the beloved community institution will unveil a significant remodel of its expansive patio, transforming it into a destination where families, friends, and even four-legged companions can linger longer.
The physical space may be evolving, but the soul of Brat Haus remains in its kitchen, where nearly everything is handmade. Unlike many pubs, Brat Haus takes its kitchen seriously. Almost everything on the menu is made in-house, from signature brats to sauerkraut and specialty sauces. This dedication to craft elevates the casual dining experience into something distinctly memorable.
Brat Haus offers an incredible array of food that’s designed to be enjoyed with a pint, but is also worth savoring on its own. Crafting a community space where anyone can drop by, have a beer, and have a bite. All families are more than welcome.
And we truly mean all families, including family members and even your four-legged ones. Brat Haus has long been a part of Scottsdale’s dog-loving culture. Beyond simply welcoming pets on the patio, the team hosts adoption events, crafts house-made dog treats, and even organizes dog biscuit-making activities. It’s a place where your pup feels as welcome as you do, a reflection of the restaurant’s deep community roots.
Community has always been at the heart of Brat Haus, and the upcoming remodel builds on that legacy; reimagining the patio as a place where everyone, from friends to families to four-legged companions, can feel at home.
