continues it\u2019s 50th anniversary season with one of the most popular and ingenious comedies of the stage.\u00a0 Theatrikos surveyed Northern Arizona audiences and asked, of all the shows we\u2019ve done over the past 50 years, which shows they most want to see again.\u00a0 <i>The Foreigner<\/i> came in near the top of the list.\u00a0 You ask and we deliver.\u00a0 This third show of Theatrikos\u2019 50th anniversary season runs from May 20 to June 5, 2022.<\/p><p><i>The Foreigner: <\/i>\u00a0When everyone in the lodge thinks that a stranger doesn\u2019t understand a word of English, some devious characters speak freely around him and he learns some dark secrets.\u00a0 A hilarious comedy based on a devilishly clever idea.<\/p><p><i>\u201cIn my 60 year love affair with theatre, I\u2019ve been involved with many plays\u2014performing, directing, and working backstage and in the booth.\u00a0 But <\/i>The Foreigner<i> has a special place in my heart,\u201d<\/i> said director Stan Sutherland.\u00a0 <i>\u201cBack in 1989, at the Racine Theatre Guild, I was thrilled to be cast as Charlie in <\/i>The Foreigner<i>.\u00a0 The script brings out aspects of people I hadn\u2019t seen before, and everyone in the cast was inspired by its rich humor and its poignant messages about the potential of every individual and the evil and stupidity of prejudice.\u00a0 The show will be magical and hilarious for audiences in protocols.\u201d <\/i>Theatrikos will drop vaccine mandate for audiences on Fridays and Saturdays and will keep cautious safety protocols for Sunday matinees.<\/p><p>Performances of <i>The Foreigner<\/i> are at Theatrikos, May 20 to June 5, 2022, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 pm and Sundays at 2 pm.
