Across Arizona and the greater Southwest, burros are woven into the region’s emotional landscape, from desert trails and historic towns to the rugged terrain of the Grand Canyon and Route 66. Bixby reflects that spirit with oversized ears, a gentle seated posture, and an unmistakable sense of innocence and personality. The sculpture feels approachable and full of heart.
